when I’m inserting keywords into my titles and articles,does it matter how I place them.

Say for instance my keyword was ” Destroy adware spyware”.
Well the normal thing to do for me would be to put the phrase as “Destroy adware/spyware” to make it look more organized.

But will that forward slash ruin my organic traffic for that term from the search engines, or will the web spiders not pick it up.

If so, what are some other symbols or characters I could put between them to make it look better without messing up the results?
