com is used globally and co.in is for india and co.uk is for United kingdom
The .com and .net can be registered by anyone in the world. .in and co.in are for the ppl in India. there is no wrong in registering the .in and co.in. but it wouldn’t be catchy to use .in and .co.in websites. you can register them through many agencies or simply on rediff.com also.
